It's been quite a while since Manon invited me to her home, where we had a long talk and made some beautiful pictures. She has been wearing the hijab for about two years now, though she converted some time before that. Devastated by the divorce of her parents, Manon went online and found her answers in Islam. After giving birth to her son three years ago, her marriage unfortunately fell apart. Though she has had to cope with some insecurities, the hijab has remained hers and will remain hers indefinitely. I can't wait to show the pictures featured in the book, for now these will have to do! :)
