During a very special trip to Toronto, Canada this summer, I was lucky enough to meet up with Yas Cher, blogger (one of two) behind My Dear Montreal. She made the trip up all the way from Montreal and I couldn't be more proud to have her in the project Hijab Unravelled! We spent an awesome afternoon wandering around the colourful streets of the Kensington Markets, chatting away and taking many many pictures :)
She shared her life story with me, an inspiring one in which she used her knowledge to commit to her religion and hijab. We were able to get some wicked shots for the project which will of course be revealed in the printed book next summer. In the meantime take a look at our afternoon together and enjoy!
